Last week, Kiwanis of Acadiana heard from LouAnne Greenwald with the Hilliard Art Museum. She told us about all of the fun things coming up at the Hilliard. If you haven't been to their museum, you should check them out. We also got to hear from our spelling bee winner, Aiden Pham. Good luck in Washington D.C. for the National Spelling Bee, Aiden!
Kiwanis of Acadiana members collected items in the first quarter of 2022 to be donated to Foster the Love. This organization exists to encourage and support foster and adoptive families; to empower and support children, youth and families affected by trauma, and to educate the community on the needs of the foster system. We hope these items to help to make a difference!
Last week, Kiwanis of Acadiana got to hear from Rich Hanf with the Fright Trail. Rich told us all about the fun of Fright Trail along with all the good he and Deborah Leblanc are able to do in the community because of it.
Join us on Thursday at noon at Rock N Bowl downtown for our next meeting. We will hear from Shandon Hannie and Krysten Vollenweider from Escape Reality Travel Agency. We hope to see you there!
